 Whispers along Beach Road have it that Valetines Day started a long time ago (270 A.D) , when an emperor decided to build an army so devoted to his empire that he outlawed marriage in order to avoid any type of family attachment from his men. Valentine was a priest who helped young lovers to get married in secret during such times. Of course the Emperor discovered him and sent him to jail, where he fell in love with the jail owner's daugther!             |
