Alert on Counterfeit Samoan Banknotes

The Central Bank of Samoa has again stepped up its public awareness programme to clamp down on the counterfeiting of bank notes The Central Bank of Samoa has inidcated that the most common serial numbers of the counterfeit bank notes for the public to look out for are: $100 note: B324727 and B168242 $50 note: B239060 and B258767 $20 note: C728586 $10 note G833336 Newsline Newspaper Catch up with News. The Central Bank is now working closely with the police to track down the source of the counterfeit notes.
