The Government has this week announced the reappointments of Lealaiauloto as General of the Samoa Life Assurance Corporation and Fuimaono as the General of the Development Bank of Samoa

Lealaiauloto Aniseto Chan Ting has worked as General Manager for Samoa Life Assurance Corporation for nearly 19 years now. He is also a Member of the Samoa Society of Accountants. Lealaiauloto is also on correspondence for substantial completion of his Associateship in the New Zealand Insurance Institute. Additionally, he began his working career at the Treasury Department, and later on to the Development Bank of Samoa and the Samoa Shipping Corporation before taking up his post as General Manager for SLAC in 1978. Apparently, Lealaiauloto is also highly regarded for his integrity, capacity and strategic skills in the execution of his responsibilities as General Manager. Lealaiauloto, 58, hails from the villages of Lelepa and Lotopa.

Fuimaono Falefa Lima began his working career at the Development Bank of Samoa where he has worked for more than thirty (30) years and has been the General Manager for almost eleven (11) years now. He is also the current Chairman for the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific and an active member of various local organisations. Additionally, Fuimaono began his schooling locally and furthered his studies at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Economics. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Banking from the Seattle University in the United States. Fuimaono, 57, hails from the village of Salani, Falealii.
