The Samoa National Provident Fund is seeking applications for the CEO position following the completion of the contract of the present CEO, Panoa Tavita Moala this month.


The Samoa National Provident Fund (SNPF) is a compulsory savings scheme for employees (members) established in 1972 and entrusted with "safekeeping of members’ contributions and to generate from the resources provided by these contributions the greatest achievable benefits for members and their dependents during retirement or in the event of earlier death or incapacitation." Contributions to SNPF are made by employers on behalf of their employees and is 10% of the employee’s gross salary(5% from the employee + 5% from the employer).
 

Samoa National Provident Fund is now one of the biggest financial institutions in Samoa and plays an important part in the financing of large developmental projects. One of the projects in which the Samoa National Provident Fund took the lead in financing is the Aggie Greys Beach Resort at Faleolo.

The deadline for applications for the position of CEO is 12noon Friday 25th January 2008
