The seller of the best selling body butter in the world, Body Shop is inviting members of Samoas Women in Business to an international business launch in Europe.
This was confirmed by Head of Ethical Trade, Graham Clewer, “Members of the Samoan Women in Business have been invited to attend this world wide launch, marking our commitment to working with Samoa,” says Clewer.
However the details of the launch remain confidential, “the details of the launch are still top secret, but I can say it is a very big international launch,” Clewer adds.
Body Shop started when Anita Roddick starting making cosmetic products from `her kitchen from natural ingredients, she opened a shop inspired by nature and in 30 years it has grown to 2300 stores around the world.
Clewer says that it is unlikely that Body Shop will ever open in Samoa, however there are stores all over New Zealand.
Body Shop is a world renowned cosmetic label that recently formed a partnership with Samoa, called Community Trade, where coconut oil from Samoa will be used in the making of its products.
