Sewing MachineFor Manono Women

The Komiti a Tina, Salua-tai, Manono, has received a much needed boost from the Australian High Commissioner’s Direct Aid Program, through the funding of ST$5,779.00 for the purchase of 20 hand (manual) sewing machines, and sewing accessories. The Australian High Commissioner to Samoa, Matt Anderson said the 20 sewing machines will assist the Komiti a Tina in their ongoing development program in sewing skills. “I am particularly pleased the sewing machines will be put to early use in the skills workshop being supported and conducted by staff members of the Ministry of Women, Community & Social Development – Women’s Division” Mr Anderson said.
