Warwick Group Moving Ahead with Vavau Resort

(The Warwick International Hotels logo) The Warwick Group has had a high level delegation to Apia since last week to finalise their plans for building an up market resort at Vavau. The Warwick Group which is active in the resort business around the world and the Pacific region is keen to move ahead with their resort project. The Warwick Group already has resorts in Vanuatu and Fiji. They have also been working on setting up a resort on the island of Vavau in Tonga. It truly is our favorite beach in the world. When we were there in Nov., we spent days on the beach at Vavau knowing it would never be the same again. Once the Hotel is up and running will the Samoan public have access to that beach? Even though the natural beauty of the setting will be altered, it would be a shame if the public was denied access. I don't think people realise the importance of retaining the simple beauty of places like Vavau.
