The Samoalive Chatroom which has been packed with Samoans from all over the world 24/7 for the last ten years is finally closing its doors this week as the Samoalive Crew keeps up with the new trends online. Most of the social networking now is through Bebo, facebook and myspace. Therefore the Samoalive Crew is working on building up the Teuila.net which matches friends online
The Samoalive Chatroom over the years had its own online aiga of regulars who had met and sometimes fought on a daily basis. Some have even met and got married online through their daily visits to the Samoalive Chatroom. The Samoalive Chatroom has been a real headache for the servers administrators particularly for schools and government offices around the world. The Samoalive Chatroom became a poppular site for servers administrators to block to prevent the students and workers clogging their internet connections The Samoalive Chatroom was originally open to anyone until last year when a number of complaints led to the chatroom closed only to registered members. The chatroom has been looked after by a group of moderators under the overall main moderator, Vanessa from the USA. The Samoalive chatroom first opened online in 1998 Comments (0)
