Lauofo’s Body Brought Home To Samoa

The body of the late Lauofo Meti arrived in the country on Monday night (local time) from New Zealand where he passed away last Saturday morning. Lauofo died from a secondary stroke while recovering in the hospital in Auckland. His body is currently lying in state at the Ligaliga Funeral Parlour. His burial service is being tentatively planned for this coming Friday, in time for the Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, to attended on his return from addressing the UN council in New York.
