The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour has logged on to the internet highway to attract more foreign investors to Samoa.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Misa Telefoni launched the www.mcil.gov.ws jointly with his Associate Minister Joachim Keil on Wednesday.
“We want more Yazakis to prove employment for our labour force,” Misa said at the launching.

The car harnessing factory at Vaitele is the largest private sector in the country, with a staff of over 2 thousand workers.
The Deputy Prime Minister spoke about two new luxury hotels in the process of construction at scenic spots in Aleipata and Matautu tai.
“There are people who can be attracted to invest in Samoa and they can do that by learning about the opportunities available in the country from the website.”
The same opportunities will be extended to interest visitors to come to Samoa through the launching next week of the Samoa Tourism Authority’s website.
The internet connection in Samoa hold further promise with the launching at the start of next year of a bigger and faster submarine cable extended from American Samoa, with direct links to Hawaii and New Zealand.

I totally agree w the Ministers this time...
It does creates lots of oppotunity for some of our people...Meaning jobs will b available, oppotunity for our young generation that they haven't finish their grades,& mostly of the majority of Samoa people eager to learn new skills..I know few people they want to help Samoa by investing in the Gov.And give Samoa people a chance to stay home rather leaving their loved one behind searching 4 gold & diamond overseas.
The question is????Who do we trust in the Government????Its a bit scary though...But as i said why not.Take the Risk...If investos loose ,,,2 bad Samoa never loose we still survive....
