An Aussie Toast for La and Li
written by Meripa Weir, April 05, 2008
To the blessed Couple La'auli and Lillian

There is a special calmness in the air
Like it knows there is something special happening over there
Sh!! There's a pegion..one..two..three..and four
They seem to point their beaks towards Samoa
Wait a minute..Here comes a Lorakeet.colourful yellow and Wallaby green.
No, its not a kick off but a poise to start..a Special Dance for La and Li

Even the Brisbane sky is unusually clear
No helicopters, hot air balloons, no Air New Zealand or Virgin Blues
No naughty ducks or screaming parrots they seem to know not
To disturb the significance and specialness of this moment
For a beautiful couple celebrating ...They are one

So folks..parents families friends..the Aiga-na-Lua
Lets charge our glassess and drink to the health
And well being of La'auli ma Lilieni si ona to'alua
Our prayers are for a blessed union in your journey ahead
And may Jesus be your guiding light...AMEN

Many more blessings and loving wishes from all of your family in Brisbane .

Aunty Meripa
