PM To Give Lauofo Meti Eulogy

PM Tuilaepa arriving at the Mulivai Cathedral a few weeks ago for the funeral Mass of the former Forum Secretary, Mr. Greg Urwin. The Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi , rushed back from addressing the United Nations Council in New York to pay his personal respects and that of the Government at the funeral service today of the late Lauofo Meti . PM Tuilaepa is expected to deliver one of only 3 eulogies in this morning’s Requiem Mass at the Mulivai Catholic Cathedral. Mrs. Lupe Lauofo Meti and the eldest of their 3 boys, Vaatuitui Apete Meredith, will speak about the life of Lauofo as a husband and father respectively. His body will be laid to rest at the Magiagi National Cemetary, Lauofo was a very highly respected public servant, political figure and business leader. He died at the weekend of complications from a secondary stroke in Auckland where he was under medical treatment from an earlier attack.
