Former Samco Head Girl Passes Away

Mrs Meavali Peters (nee Meavali Afele Maiava) has passed away in Samoa Meavali who was the Samoa College Head Girl Prefect for Samoa College in 1967 has passed away. Before Samoa College she attended Tutaga Primary School.She also attended USP where she got her diploma in librarianship. Meavali Peters worked for 26 years with UNDP at Matautu Apia before retiring in 2005. Meavali was quiet and pleasant in greeting all the visitors to the UNDP during her long service with the international organisation. Before joining UNDP she worked for the Bank of New Zealand and FAO.
