His Highness Explains His NUS Appointment

In accepting his appointment as the Chancellor of the National University of Samoa (NUS), His Highness, Afioga Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese, explained in his acceptance speech how he has come to appreciate the value of the work by the NUS despite his past protest against the government of the late Tofilau Eti Alesana when the setting up of the NUS was being debated in Parliament. The position of Chancellor of the NUS became vacant when the late His Highness, Susuga Malietoa Tanumafili II passed away last year.
