New Leaders for Samoa College

The team of prefects for Samoa College 2008 A team of 40 Year 13 Students of Samoa College were elected Leaders for this year. 20 females and 20 males have been chosen to carry out the duties of Prefects in their respective Houses as well as responsibilities within the school. Some of the Prefects told Newsline that they were much honored to be selected and will do their best to serve their school. Out of the 40 leaders 36 of them were prefects, with Head Prefects, Olive Leilua (Head Boy), Rebecca Schuster (Head Girl), Travis Leilua (Deputy Head Boy) and Terina Sefo (Deputy Head Girl). Rebecca told Newsline that she is thankful to the teachers for entrusting them to serve the school through leadership. She aims to set a good example for her fellow school mates to follow, and hopes that she will help everyone to understand the true value of wearing the Samoa College uniform with pride and dignity. Travis also had similar aspirations and they say that the duties are yet to be confirmed but they are ready to serve Samoa College with humility and strength.
