After a narrow loss 21-22 to the Harlequinns, the Manu Samoa won their second warm up game in England against the Saints 24-12 in front of a crowd of 8,122 at Franklin's Gardens. The Manu Samoa is using the warm games to test their various combinations. Although the game was close, the real value came from the new Manu Samoa players putitng  their hands up to be considered as first choices for the World Cup pool games next month.

The Manu Samoa points came from tries by Donald Kerslake, Jerry Meafou and Lome Faatau with Loki Crichton making the conversions. The commentators of the game were impressed with the performance also of Eliota Sapolu and Junior Sapolu.
