Importation of RHD Cars To Be Allowed Soon in Samoa

The Secretary of the Transport Board has this week told the media that his Board has made a proposal to Cabinet to amend its regulations to allow the importation of Right Hand Drive cars as from February 2008 The announcement by the Secretary of the Transport Board is was proceeding with the switch to the right hadn drive has created some confusion on the outcome of the petition by People Against Switching Side ( PASS). The petition has been under extensive discussions this week at Mulinuu by the special Parliamentary Committee and the public who were invited to make presentations on the proposed petition.
