Senior Government Official Passes Away

Sooialo David Fong has passed away in Samoa late this week Sooialo David Fong was one of the senior government officials with extensive knowledge on land law and adminstration having held senior positions in the Attorney General Office, Public Trust, Legislative Department, Public Service Commission and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in Samoa. Sooialo also worked with the law firm of Stevenson and Nelson. Sooialo David Fong had LLB and BA from university of Otago in New Zealand. Sooialo was a recognised authority on land law issues in regional and international meetings on land reforms and international conventions on the land and environment.
