Samoan specialist cops are ready for Sudan when they travel in January 2008 Eight Samoan police who are specialists in investigations, logistics and advisory work have been officially farewelled by the Prime Minister Hon Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi. The new group of Samoan police for Sudan marks the first time that the Samoan police will be working in specialists positions and not as in general security areas as with previous groups from Samoa. Samoa has been active with its UN peace keepers not only in Sudan but also in East Timor and the Solomon Islands The Samoan police force also has a very talented brazz band and cultural group.
