This is a great idea folks. But I personally dont like the picture of the HOS and his masiofo at the front page of the website. Come on guys, this page is not only for us Samoan folks. Its for the whole world to see our national parents in a more sophisticated way. I want to hold my head up high when I open this webpage. Make them look like traditional Samoan leaders, royals, for the sake of global eyes. Actually, they look like having a picnic at the Tanu beach (excuse the language). If you guys decide to make a web page for the HOS, I am behind the idea all the way, but make it the best of the best. They are royals of Samoa, not just any other ordinary Samoans. We need to see traditional royal wear on that frontpage, and I will spread the news of that website to friends and folks in England.
Second, why not include the HOS speeches, articles, and academic presentations before he became HOC as well? The fellow is an academic. He is a champion of indigenous research especially in Polynesian history and oral traditions and every Samoan has to be proud of it. The world need to read his academic capabilities as well. The new Tongan king can speak many languages, I have heard. But the Samoan King (HOS) is an academic and distinuguished scholar in Polynesian and Samoan indigenous traditions. I am a proud Samoan in the midst of England so dont let me down folks.
I know the process is at the primary stages, so this is just a modest input from a proud Samoan.
your right @Anaua

i think this website is a great idea! but i agree with Anaua. you guys should have a a prettier picture of the royal family. have them pose or do something that would show that they are the royal family. and maybe include some of the family histories way back then. or mention the late Malietoa's that were before him or you know something like that. a brief history about the whole Tui Atua title or something like that. just so to satisfy the curiosity of people that are going to read this website. well im jsut suggesting but its a great website and a great idea to do something special for the Head of State. i hope more details and more histories and work would show up about the Head of State on his new website.
