PM To Lead Delegation to Forum Meeting in Niue

Hon Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi will be departing tomorrow for Niue via New Zealand to lead Samoa's delegation to the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders meeting in Alofi Niue. The Niue meeeting will be an important event for Samoa next week as it will be nominating Tuiloma Neroni Slade to the post of Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat to succeed the late Greg Urwin. Tuiloma is a former Attorney General for Samoa and has also been an Ambassador for Samoa at the UN.He has also been a judge of the International Criminal Court at the Hague.
