Tuiloma Neroni Slade Is the New Secretary General

The Pacific Islands Forum Leaders today announced at Alofi Niue the appointment of Tuiloma Neroni Slade as the new Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat to succeed the late Greg Urwin. Tuiloma Neroni Slade is the first Samoan national to hold the position of Secretary General of the Forum Secretariat.Tuiloma is considered as one of the top Pacific Islands lawyers having worked as Attorney General for Samoa, Head of the Legal Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat and a recent judge of the International Criminal Court at the Hague.
