The cry of the people of God
written by Samoan in United States of America, December 18, 2007
It is sad for us Samoans living out of the country to see our people disagree with some leaders decisions that involves all the people of the island.
I know that there are a lot of Samoans that are living out side of Samoa and also besides New Zealand that do contribute to their families and help send them money and other things to help their families in Samoa. The government do not give this help to our families like we do from outside.
We, also have a right to say something about it for the safety of our loved ones that are still struggling for their rights in Samoa.
To do this, is DISCRIMINATION against the Samoan people who are supporting their families from other countries besides New Zealand.
How many accidents will be brought about by this change?. The U.S. A. do not have cars that drive on the left side, and yet I know Samoans living here do care about the their people. Properly send more support than Samoans living in New Zealand. Who is reaping all the benefit? One person? or the people?
If Samoa is founded on God. Leaders should think about what they want to change and how it will affect the people of God.
I hope the government will listen to the cry of the people of God
