Following the exit by the Pacific Island countries of the 2007 World Cup, the IRB rankings have come out with Fiji at 9th, Manu Samoa at 12th and Ikale Tahi of Tonga at 13th
Despite the major disappointment of the Manu Samoa fans following the loss to the Ikale Tahi of Tonga at the recent World Cup the International Rugby Board world rankings still put the Manu Samoa ahead of the Ikale Tahi of Tonga. The Manu Samoa ranking has been helped by the wins earlier in the year against Tonga, Japan and Fiji in the six nations competition. Click here to view the details of the IRB rankings
