Bronze Medal for Orlando

Orlando Seumanutafa shot his way to a Bronze Medal for Samoa in the Down the Line Single Barrel Shotgun Competition on Tuesday to the delight of the crowd On hand to award the medals of the day was a visibly proud Samoan Police Commissioner, Papali'i Lorenese Neru who broke with presentation protocol to give his fellow countryman a hug. A new recruit to the Samoa Shooting Federation, Seumanutafa, like most Samoan shooters obviously has the potential to go further with the experience of the games. The Gold Medal went to Fiji's Glenn Kable who repeated his success of the 2003 South Pacific Games with second place going to yesterday's Gold Medalist in the Double Barrel Shotgun Event, Theodore Tein Weiawe of New Caledonia.
