Aunese & Rudolf Did Their Best But Not Enough For Beijing

Aunese Curreen ran well in his heat but could not make it to the semi finals after coming in 29th overall in the 800 meters.This ends Aunese Curreen's campaign in Beijing. Rudolf Berking-Williams was also not successful with his 1000 meters semi finals in the kayak flatwater event.Rudolf Berking Williams will now have his semi finals in the 500 meters kayak flatwater today. Although Aunese and Rudolf have not been able to break through to the finals, they have been the only Pacific Island track and field athletes in Beijing to have made progress from their performances before the games.
