Fire Scare at Apia Park Sports Complex

Clouds of black smoke filled the air above the Apia Park sporting complex this afternoon, forcing the fire brigade to make an emergency run to put it out. The fire billowed out into the skies in dark smoke at the back of the main stadium, adjacent a residential area. However, residents avoided the media at the time so it is unknown whether the fire was started deliberately or not. Fire fighters also did not know the immediate cause of the fire and said they would investigate. Newsline Newspaper Catch up with News. Grab a Newsline today. Only $2 tala.
