After winning its pool games against Canada (24-17) and Spain (24-5), the Manu Samoa 7s stumbled in their last pool game against Wales 14-24 The Manu Samoa 7s struggled in their pool game against Canada and needed all of their fighting qualities to see off first Canada 24-17. Alatasi Tupou scored a hat-trick of tries fin the game against Canada and Timoteo Iosua crossed twice in their win against gallant Spain. The Manu Samoa 7s now has to play Fiji in the quarter finals.
