Manu Samoa 7s Edged Out of Wellington 7s Finals

Samoa came to a standstill on Friday evening as fans and supporters watched the live SBCTV telecast of the come back by the Manu Samoa 7s team to claw their way to the finals after stumbling in the last pool game on day one. The Manu Samoa 7s team led by Uale Mai put on their best performance in the tournament when they battled it out with New Zealand in the pulsating finals of the 2008 Wellington 7s. However, the Manu Samoa 7s were edged out in the last minute 17-22 with a last second try by Victor Vito of New Zealand.
