The Samoa Rugby Union has finalised its squad from which a test team will be selected to play against the All Blacks in Taranaki New Zealand next week

The squad marks the start of a major shift in the composition of the Manu Samoa team which the union has announced to progressively reduce the heavy reliance on northern hemisphere-based players by 2011.The squad also includes players from the successful under 20 team which ranked 7th in the World earlier this year.

Come on boys, show the world of rugby what you've got. It is not about winnining or loosing at this moment. It is only a sport anyway, but we want to see your courage and your sportsmanship at the same time. Make it a clean and high standard rugby game. High tackles and ugly sportsmanship will never help the development of our rugby at home. Show the world that Samoan rugby players are gentlemen warriors. The future and fate of all the local players are in your hands at this game. Show the world of rugby that there is plenty of raw talent in our island. We are all behind you brothers, no matter what.

Come on Manu!!
Good luck boys

HEY MANU, IT IS OUR TIME. THE TEAM LOOKS GOOD, BUT IF YOU ARE NOT WORKING TOGETHER AS A TEAM, THEN IT IS GOING TO BE LITTLE HARD. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOU GUYS AGAINST THE ALL BLACKS. A MESSAGE FOR " BRIAN LIMA" I WISH YOU CAN COME BACK, BECAUSE YOUR TIME IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO EXPIRE, IF IT IS NOT THE WINGER, THEN I AM 100% BELIEVE, YOU ARE THE NUMBER ONE LOOSE FORWARD. PLEASE COME BACK AND BRING TOO VAEGA AS WELL.

Hi guys, this is a case of David vs Goliath. Unfortunately, in this case David is going to find it hard to defeat Goliath. Without a doubt you will give it your all, but as everyone who knows rugby that playing against the All Blacks is the ultimate rugby test. It is unfortunate in some ways that we can't have the best available players but you are the chosen ones for this match and you will be better players for it. It will definitely a great learning experience for all of you. All you can do is your best, who knows you just might surprise everyone. And I have so much respect for Brian Lima and what he had done for the Manu, and I believe he retired because he knew that his time was up. He can still help the Manu but just not on the field anymore.

Well, O outou mama na, fai i ai lo outo fai mea mafai. It is never going to be easy,,,,, but as you say "Ua e sau ma lou malosi ua atoatoa". All the Best Manu..

JUST GO HARD, PLAY HARD AND VERY SMART..........

DIE HARD MANU SAMOA FAN.........
GO MANU!!!

Good Job Samoa
I just want to say that the new zealand all blacks still has to prove itself in its own backyard by playing in OUR conditions..Play a game in Apia, Suva and Tongatapu under the hot sun amongst our fans.
Please All Blacks..We urge you to take the challenge
Im sure the scores would be much closer and a FAIR result.
Otherwise playing under floodlights in NZ is like playing in a fridge!!!
Well done Uale Mai n Crew
Your pacific brother from Fiji
