![]() Uale Mai and his team looked confident and sharp in their first pool game against Sri Lanka when they won 35-7 last night However the Manu Samoa coach will have to still work on some of the handling and tackling errors if the team is to be seriously considered to win the Hong Kong tournament. Uale Mai has been getting alot of media attention because his record 51 caps for the IRB Series set in Hong Kong. When interviewed about his team Uale Mai stressed the focus of the team on winning the tournament “Hong Kong is a big tournament and a big prize to win. It is something that we are aiming for and to win would of course mean more important IRB Sevens World Series points.” The Manu Samoa 7s will today play against Canada at 7:10pm (Samoan time) and against England at 11:34pm (Samoan time).
