I hope that number 8 has been taught some discpline as well as ball handling skills. So Palamo has opted for Fuimaono at 10. well let's just hope he doesn't have to kick too much; otherwise, he has a good running/distribution game. Looking forward to see Uale Mai setting up some breaks.
position

doesn't anyone else know how to play no. 8, watch the last game... he hasn't gone past the defensive line once, niko must be really blind. what about the faafili, he's good league player.... but he's out of position most of the time.... why not use gasolo there. we all know it's development but at least do your homewok.... good to see warren out, and this schwarger guy.... that is true, he gives away possession all the time he gets his hands on the ball...

wel, good luck n please show us your game plan sole... kou mama ga

Next Samoan Coach
written by Ron, June 13, 2008
Team looks better on paper but can they up the tempo from a disapointing outing last week. I agree with you King. Fa'afili does look out of position. Even in rugby league he looked out of position, especially in defence. Gasolo should of got that position as he is a specialist centre.

Leo and Sititi will add a bit more sting to the forward pack. Am surprised Henry Tuilagi still hasn't made the team. He's an impact player and not many rugby players, if any like to tackle him. I'm picking Stowers to have more impact in this game. A better looking back 3 than last week though to be honest. I hear Jo Tekori has just finished his season in France so hope he is available next week. Would have been nice to have seen Gavin Williams at fullback. He's a solid defender and can break the line most times and is reliable with the boot. Neli will have to step his game up. Sapolu and Tuilagi will add defensive sting to the backline so good move their.

I wonder if Palamo will be teempted to throw in Trevaranus or Faosiliva at number 7 for the next game. I reckon these 2 are our best prospects for that position.

This be my team for the next game hopefully..... (Have a look Palamo!!)

1. Hiroshi Tea
2. Mahonri Schwalger
3. Census Johnston
4. Filipo Levi
5. Kane Thompson

Warren kickity-kick
written by Olo, June 13, 2008
Roger Warren plays the typical St Josephs 'kick the ball away' game. Kick kick kick.

It is all well and good to kick for territory, but if there are no chasers, all that is going to happen is that the opposition will run the ball right back at you on the wide expanse of field which the chasers did not cover. Warren should've yelled to his wingers and flankers to chase every kick. Sasulu the number 7 was particularly invisible.

1. Heroshi Tea
2. Loleni Tafunai
3. Cencus Johnston
4. Felipo Levi
5. Bell Sasulu
6. Daniel Leo
7. Semo Sititi
8. George Stowers
9. Uale Mai

11. David Lemi
12. Toelupe Paletuatoa
13. Salima Gasolo
14. Esera Lauina

17. Alesana Tuilagi
18. James Johnston
19. Muliufi Salanoa
20. Henry Tuilagi
21. Lome Fa'atau
22. Gavin Williams

They should be picked for next week I reckon, World Cup players in there as well and some very good players are in the reserves because when they go on in the second half, they can run over the opposition more easily because the opposition will be tired or starting to get tired.

where is my boy alesana tuilagi? he and his brother are the king of the heavens!! they need to be on the field, heck, they were the only people making impact in the world cup.. we should of won, unlucky mistakes cost us 2 tries (australia A couldnt get real tries) and we probably need a new goalkicker? although the emphasis isnt really there i guess.. this week we got the nz maori. if tonga can get close, we can beat them!! alu manu samoa!
