Maurie Makes History in UK

Maurie Faasavalu scored a try against the NZ Kiwis earlier today in his test debut for the UK Maurie Faasavalu has not only created history by being the first Samoan to be selected for the British rugby league test but has proven his selection by scoring a try against the NZ Kiwis test team Maurie Faasavalu is also the first Samoan sportsperson to be a double Samoan and British international.Maurie who played all his rugby union internationals as part of the Samoa 7s and Manu Samoa 15s teams was a key rugby union player for Samoa in 2003 before switching to rugby league with help from another former Manu Samoa player, Apollo Perelini Comments (0) Subscribe to this comment's feed Write comment Name Email Title Comment
