Ms Amsterdam Into Apia Port Despite Bad Weather

The passenger cruiser, Ms Amsterdam called into the Apia port this morning with a large number of tourists However the bad weather and the extensive flooding around the low lying areas of the country did not help with first impressions of the tourists. The Apia port area was brownish from the heavy debris from the flooding down the estuary of the Vaisigano river. The heavy down pours particularly in the morning made it difficult for the tourists to walk around the Apia area.The Ms Amsterdam left the Apia port at 6pm this evening The next passenger cruiser is expected tomorrow evening.The hotels and travel operators are hoping for a better weather tomorrow evening and Monday morning.
